I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE- please get the Festive Salad next time you go. It is amazing. I have gotten it in the restaurant, as well as to go and it is ALWAYS fresh- always beautifully presented. Always consistent. The staff here is also wonderful. They are attentive, fast and extremely knowledgeable. The dining room is beautiful as well. Great atmosphere. Great wine, and awesome people :)
We stopped in for an early dinner. Salad offering are very good. Nice offering of sandwiches and pizza. Waiter very nice. Great leftovers to bring hope.
8Fifty is under new ownership, and the restaurant now offers much more than pizza. Their wings are cooked in the wood-fired oven and have a great crisp to them, with the sauce turning into a nice glaze from heat. Their Buffalo sauce is on the sweeter side and pairs nicely with the Mac and cheese. The garlic bites are the softest I think I’ve ever had and are dangerously addictive! The margherita pizza and the spinach and artichoke special pizza were both good. Our one critique on the food is that we think the crust or sauce could be a bit more flavorful, but the crust has a great crisp and our pies were charred perfectly. I have seen them come out darker than ours though, so if you don’t like char I definitely recommend asking for a lighter bake. They’ve expanded and have much more seating than they used to, as well as a full bar. In our experience the pizzas do take a while to come out, but the rest of the food came out fairly quickly. We’re looking forward to coming in for brunch on a weekend!
Had a lovely dinner here. My husband and I tried the seasonal cider mule, then ordered some garlic parmesan rolls with marinara. My husband ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and I ordered a fig & brie pizza. They were delicious and we had some leftovers. The fig brie pizza was so good the next morning with an egg on top (pictured)! I didn't get pictures at the restaurant, but it was clean and had good low lighting, and was not too loud for a busy Friday night.
Pizza and salad done right. Pizza came straight out of the oven, pipping hot. Not overly fancy, just an enjoyable dinner. Good service.
I love the wood fired pizza from here! The flavor is like no other. Is it the local hardwood, the dough, the oven temperature or the combo of flavors they've developed?? Whatever it is, it's crazy fantastic. Try the specials, they are insane! Did I mention it's thin and crunchy?
As crazy as it sounds most places do not fill up their martini glasses. This Cosmo was amazing. Great staff great place. A must try. 5 stars for sure.
So let me just tell you, I was recommended to go here after I went to go and purchase a Chicken Caesar Salad, somewhere else. Unfortunately they only used cold chicken. It wasn't even brown, like it was grilled. So I used that person's recommendation and ordered 2 salads extra dressing on the side, and an order of grilled and breaded chicken. I get to 8fifty and it was so welcoming. My first time there and everyone was so nice and polite. I chatted with the bartender and another worker and I knew I was definitely coming back. Everything was done fresh. I came home and was so pleased with my salad and that chicken[MUAH]..KISS THE CHEF...it was delish...this will definitely be a spot for me. Of course I grabbed a menu!!!!
